Due to unprecedented demand, our current EDP program is at full capacity until April 1st, 2025.
Community Futures continues to support all rural Albertans with entrepreneurial training and lending.

Disabilities aren’t always visible and more than 60% of Canadians are working with some form of barrier or health condition. Everyone’s needs differ and we recognize that only YOU know what works best for YOU.
Community Futures Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) helps people working with barriers or health conditions to start and grow businesses.

To be eligible for the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities programs you must:
- Have a self-disclosed disability or ongoing health condition
- Live in rural Alberta – learn more about our urban partners, Momentum (Calgary) and Prospect Human Services (Edmonton)
- Have a viable business idea
- Be able to contribute in some way to your business
Access to Repayable Loans for Viable Businesses
