Community Futures Alberta is continually working to make its web content and online resources accessible as part of its online inclusion efforts. We are committed to providing a website that 1) features Assistive Technology for individuals who have trouble typing, gesturing, moving a mouse or reading and 2) is built with accessibility in mind so that no one with a disability is left behind. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to information on this website and can fully interact with this site.
Community Futures Alberta is actively working on its website to ensure any new or updated website content produced or sponsored by Community Futures Alberta conforms with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative’s (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level A and AA.
Our goal is to ensure that our websites make use of industry-standard techniques and preferred practices to provide the highest possible level of website accessibility for our users. These include, but are not limited to, the characteristics of usability for screen reader users, keyboard-only users, users with low/impaired vision, users who are deaf, and users who are color blind, as well as those with learning or cognitive disabilities and the aging population.
