Christina Hooper – Backcountry Fitness and Conditioning /Hoopers 80 Acre Ranch

We continue our Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) 25th anniversary celebration with a story of a Manitoba entrepreneur FIT to conquer any obstacle in her business and life journey.

Christina Hooper is a Certified Trainer/Lifestyle Coach and owner of Backcountry Fitness and Conditioning and an 80-acre hobby farm who empowers the lives of women in her community in Warren, MB and beyond. Her recent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and Optic Neuritis has led her on the determined path of breaking the barriers of all diseases and focusing on moving bodies, eating healthy, and improving the balancing act of life.


Suzanne Morin – Doctor Decal

Meet Suzanne Morin owner of Doctor Decal based in Stonewall, Manitoba and serving the Winnipeg and Interlake region for all their graphic design needs. Whether it’s signage, display art, engravings, personal or company clothing heat press, or all vehicle decals/wraps supplied and installed. 

Suzanne’s full-service print shop has been supporting her community since 1995!


Ashley Voth – Ashley Voth Stroke Recovery

Our next entrepreneur spotlight showcases the incredible story of how mental health, support, and resilience were the key indicators of this entrepreneur’s recovery which led to the launch of Ashley Voth Stroke Recovery.

A business idea spun from her own triumphs and tribulations as a stroke and cancer survivor, Ashley Voth of Beausejour, Manitoba now supports others going through the same journey.

Next up, we meet the owner of a video production and marketing company with headquarters out of Onanole, MB where “Stories Are Told Here”.

Steve Langston brings positive impact wherever he goes whether it’s working with his clients, promoting an active lifestyle, talking climate solutions, or creating opportunities in his own community like founding the Riding Mountain National Park Film Festival.
